Methodology
Five phases. Every project.
The same process on every project, regardless of size or complexity. Predictability is not an accident.
01
Intake & Scoping
Day 1
We receive your brief and ask specific clarifying questions. We confirm scope, word count, deliverable format, tone requirements, and any regulatory or compliance considerations that affect the copy. Nothing begins before we understand exactly what needs to be produced.
02
Research & Strategy
Days 2-3
For corporate and investor copy, research is not optional. We study the organization, the sector, the competitive landscape, and the specific audience who will read the finished document. Strategy means knowing what the copy needs to do before we start writing it.
03
First Draft
Days 4-7
The first draft arrives with a short explanatory note covering the key structural and tonal decisions: why this opening, why this argument order, why this level of formality. You get the context to review against the brief, not just a document to react to emotionally.
04
Review & Refinement
Days 8-10
We work through the feedback systematically. Revisions to scope, structure, or core argument are handled separately from line edits and tone adjustments. Both are included but tracked differently so we know which type of change is producing which type of improvement.
05
Final Delivery
Day 11+
Final version delivered in the agreed format with a handover note covering key decisions, usage guidance, and recommendations for how to adapt or update the copy in the future without losing the structure that makes it work. The work does not stop at the file.
