Client perspectives

"

The annual report copy they produced changed how our institutional investors talk about us. The previous three reports had the same generic sustainability language every company uses. This one was specific, credible, and genuinely ours.

Chief Communications Officer French Infrastructure Group, Paris

Before we begin

01
01 What industries do you write for?
Our primary work is in financial services, B2B technology, infrastructure, and professional services. We also write for healthcare organizations, energy companies, and consulting firms. For corporate and investor communications especially, sector knowledge matters: we research the specific regulatory context, the competitive framing, and the language conventions of each sector before writing a word.
02
02 Can you write in French as well as English?
Yes. French corporate copy and English corporate copy are written separately, not translated from each other. The conventions differ: French business writing has a more formal register in many contexts, different structural expectations, and different conventions around what constitutes a compelling argument for a French audience versus an Anglo-American one. We account for this.
03
03 How do you handle confidential material?
We sign NDAs as standard for corporate and investor work. We handle financially sensitive material, pre-IPO documents, and M&A communications regularly. Client names and project details are never disclosed without explicit permission, and we do not publish case studies for clients who have requested confidentiality.
04
04 What is included in the Chapter plan versus the Manuscript plan?
The Chapter plan covers up to five deliverables, up to 6,000 words, with two revision rounds. It suits organizations commissioning a specific campaign or report section with a defined end date. The Manuscript plan is for ongoing retainer relationships or large-scope projects like full annual reports: unlimited deliverables, unlimited revisions, a dedicated writer, and monthly strategy sessions included. The minimum term for Manuscript is six months.
05
05 Do you handle regulatory and compliance review?
We write copy that meets the brief and the regulatory framework as described to us. We are not a legal firm and do not provide legal sign-off. However, we are experienced at writing within the constraints of AMF, FCA, and SEC disclosure requirements, and we flag potential compliance issues in our delivery notes so your legal team can review them specifically rather than reviewing the entire document.
06
06 When do I pay?
Payment in full is required via Stripe before work begins. For Manuscript plan retainers, billing is monthly at the start of each period. After payment, you receive a brief confirmation and project timeline within one business day. Work begins after your brief is confirmed and any NDAs are signed, not immediately after payment.

Precision matters in corporate copy.

Send us a brief, a document you need rewritten, or a campaign that is not landing. We respond the same business day.
